Important Notification
The roots of J.K.B.K. Govt. College can be traced back to 22nd August 1972 when the ‘New Government College’ started functioning in Ravenshaw Collegiate School, Cuttack. It was shifted on 01.01.73 to the premises of the college of Accountancy and Management Studies at Jobra and formally inauguration on 19.01.73 by the then Education Minister of Orissa Mr. Binayak Acharya.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an art, but a habit. Our mission is to forge this Institution by habit into a Centre of academic excellence.
To promote quality learning and creativity among students and teachers. To introduce skill into the knowledge content with a view to be self-reliant. To pursue higher studies and search so as to build a knowledge-society. To develop a sense of espirit-de-corps through co-curricular, extra-curricular and outreach activities. To inculcate in the students mind love for learning and commitment to serve mankind
