The Vocational College came into existence in 1988-89 in the premises of C.R.R.I Campus, Bidyadharpur, Cuttack. The name of the Institution was Govt. Higher Secondary Vocational School, Bidyadharpur, Cuttack. Then it was shifted to J.K.B.K. Govt. College, Cuttack in October 2003 and renamed as Govt. Vocational Jr. College, J.K.B.K. College Cuttack.
It has been running smoothly under the keen guidance of the Principal, J.K.B.K. College Cuttack. The College offers the following courses in two trades
- Crop-Production (C.P) 24 seats.
- Power Driven farm Machinery (PDFM) 24 seat.
The +2 Vocational courses carries 650 marks in each trade. The make distribution is an follows for the Annual H.S Voc. Exam, conducted by C.H.S.E., Odisha.
