SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL AIDS

 The following scholarships and financial assistance are available to the students studying in his college. Details can be had from the college office.

  1. Junior college merit Scholarship: the students who have secured 50% in aggregate in Annual  H.S.C Examination are eligible to apply
  2. Senor College merit Scholarship:  Awarded to the students of Degree Classes on the basis of marks secured in+2 Examination.
  3. Pot-Matric Scholarship for S.C & S.T. Students: Stipends are given to the S.C. & S.T Students by the T.R.W Department of Orissa.
  4. Scholarship for teacher’s Children: Awarded to the children of primary school teachers, High school teachers or Secondary School teachers. The aggregate marks of these students must be at last 60 per cent of total mark in the H.S.C. Examination.
  5. National scholarship: Scholars securing 70% in aggregate in H .S.C. Examination are likely to get this Scholarship. The annual income of the parents should not exceed Rs.6.000/-
  6. National Loan Scholarship: To apply for Scholarship a student must have secured 50% in the qualifying examination and his parents’ income should not exceed Rs 6,000/-per annum.
  7. Stipend for physically handicapped students: Awarded to the lame, deaf or orthopedically handicapped students must aged between 17%& 30 years. The candidates must have secured at least 40% marks in the previous Annual High School Certificate Examination.
  8. Aid to children of ex-servicemen: Aid is available from the Government of Orissa to the children of Ex-servicemen. It is given to students whose brother or parent is serving in the Army. For such help the students have to produce a certificate from the commanding officer of the army.
  9. Full free studentship: it is awarded to the extent of 12.5% of the total strength of students enrolled and given in the form of exemption payment of full of half tuition fees.
  10. Aid from the student Aid Fund: it is given to deserving students.
  11. Loan from S.S.G Funds: it also given to deserving students. Such a loan is expected to be the student later in life.

N.B The principal invites application for award of free studentship/aid/loan and decides the same on the basis of merit-cum-poverty.
